The Corvette C8 is a high-end sports car that starts at $63,000. It comes as either a convertible or coupe and Car & Driver rates it a sterling 10/10! Here’s what you’ll get with this dream machine:
- Performance: The C8 is equipped with a beast of a 6.2 L V8 engine, sporting 490 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This speed demon handles much more nimbly than its fearsome exterior might suggest, and did we mention it’s blazing fast? Going 0 to 60 miles per hour in a white-knuckling 2.8 seconds will make you forget about all your worries.
- Interior: The C8’s interior is not only beautiful, but its comfortable—true, this may be a two seater sports car, but it is also a day-to-day sports car, with two trunk spaces (one in the front and one in the rear) for your groceries and golf bags, a 12-inch digital gauge, an 8-inch touchscreen with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, and Chevy’s 3 Plus System.
- Driver-assist: Ok, the only real downside to the Corvette C8 is its lack of driver-assist technology. Blindspot monitoring and rearview cross-traffic alert are available as options, but that’s about it.
So, the Corvette C8 will set you back $63,000, but that’s just for the base model. If you’re looking to upgrade, there are other trims to explore, not to mention a 70th Anniversary trim that features new exterior finishes, new paint colors, unique badging, and more. Remember, the higher up the trim ladder you go, the more you’ll pay.
