In addition to the standard New Vehicle Limited Warranty, Tesla offers an Extended Service Agreement—but only for the 2012-2020 Model S and Model X. How much this extended warranty costs depends on a few factors: your vehicle’s model, which agreement you choose, and when you purchase the agreement.
You’ll have options when it comes to Extended Service Agreements:
The 2-Year Extended Service Agreement extends your Limited Warranty by an additional 2 years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first
The 4-Year Extended Service Agreement extends your Limited Warranty by an additional 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first
Here’s how the pricing breaks down for each model:
l Model S l Purchased within 180 days l Purchased after 180 days l
l —– l —– l —– l
l 2-year Extended Service Agreement l $2,500 l $3,100 l
l 4-year Extended Service Agreement l $5,100 l $5,700 l

Keep in mind, you may purchase the Extended Service Agreement no later than 30 days or 1,000 miles past the expiration of your New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
