How much is it to transfer a car in PA?

How much will it cost me to transfer a car in Pennsylvania? I'm bargaining with a potential buyer over the price of my car and I want to make sure the price covers my title transfer fees.

It costs $53 to transfer a car title in Pennsylvania. But you won’t need to worry about the fee if you’re selling. The buyer is responsible for paying the title fee.
The only extra costs the seller incurs are notary fees and taxes. Pennsylvania has a 6% sales tax on all vehicle sales. Even if you were to sell the car to a family member below market value, the department of revenue has the right to review the transaction and charge you accordingly.
