How much is it to renew your driver’s license in Colorado?

What is the cost to get your driver’s license renewed in Colorado? I need to renew my license for the first time but I’m not sure how much cash to bring.

It only costs $26.00 to renew your driver’s license in
Colorado
, and you have a 30-day grace period after your license expires to get it renewed without any additional fees. If your license has passed its expiration date by a year or more, however, you’ll need to retake the road and written exams before you can get a new one.
You can renew your license in three ways:
  1. In person at your local DMV office.
  2. Online at mydmv.colorado.gov. This may cost slightly more due to administrative fees.
  3. By mail.
If this is your first time renewing your license, however, you’ll probably need to go in person. Other renewal options are usually only offered to drivers over 21 years of age who have obtained their full adult license already.
