How much is it for my provisional driving license?
In the state of Texas, you have to get a provisional driving license before you’re allowed to get a real one. How much will this cost me? I’m a little worried that I won’t be able to afford it!

It’s great that you’re thinking about this stuff in advance! In the state of Texas, a provisional driving license will cost you $17. Once you get this license, you’ll be allowed to drive unsupervised with a few restrictions:
No driving between midnight and 5:00 AM
No driving with more than one passenger under the age of 21
No cell phone usage for any reason
Once you turn 18, you’ll be able to get your adult drive’s license, which will cost you $33. When you receive this license, you’ll be able to drive without the above restrictions.
