How much is Chevrolet Volt depreciation?

I’m ready to join the green revolution by buying either an electric or hybrid vehicle. The Chevy Volt has my attention due to the low price, but I also don’t want to eat a ton of depreciation by buying a new one. How much does the Chevrolet Volt depreciate?

The Chevrolet Volt has one of the lowest depreciation rates in the hybrid segment. With only around 13% depreciation after five years, buying a newer model is almost the same as buying a used one—at least in terms of price.
That said, Chevrolet discontinued the Volt after the 2019 model year, so you won’t be able to get a brand-new one. Your best bet is to research several different model years to find the best deal.
