How much does a tune-up cost for a car?

I've been noticing some performance issues with my Subaru, and I think I need to take it in for a tune-up. I’ve never had to do a tune-up before, though, and so I’m not sure how expensive it should be. About how much will tuning up my car cost?

Kudos to you for keeping your car in good condition! Keeping your car running smoothly is definitely important—however, it’s important to know that you could be spending at least $200 for a tune-up.
Professional auto tuning can cost anywhere between $200 to $900, depending on the car type and engine. This cost is also generated by accounting for labor and part costs, too.
