I purchased a new car a few months ago and have been thinking about getting a tint put on the windows. How much does it cost to tint car windows?

Adding a tint to a car’s windows is a common modification. Getting it done professionally can cost anywhere from $250 to $750 or more depending on the type of vehicle, type of tint you purchase, and how many windows are done.

If this price seems a bit steep, consider applying the

yourself. You can purchase a do-it-yourself kit online or at your local auto shop for much less, but applying the tint can be tricky.
