How much does it cost to replace broken Genesis tail lights?

This is the most annoying thing ever! I literally just bought a brand new Genesis three days ago. When I was coming out of the garage I smacked into the wall and broke one of them–casing, bulb, everything. How much does it cost to completely replace a Genesis tail light?

Oh gosh! I’m so sorry that happened to your tail light! Nothing is more frustrating than damage to a brand new car! How much it costs to replace the broken
Genesis
tail light will depend on the exact model of Genesis you have. In general, though, it should be around $250-$400 for just the parts.
If you want to have a mechanic install them, you’ll have to pay for labor. Every mechanic has their own rates, but typically it’ll be $80-$100 per hour. It shouldn’t take a trained mechanic more than an hour (two at most) to remove the old tail light and install a new one.
Before you do any of that, it’s worth checking your active warranties to see if any might cover the damage.
If you’re worried about the cost, it’s good to have
collision coverage
included as part of your

policy.
If you don’t you can always switch insurance providers. It only takes a few minutes when you use the free insurance broker
