I have a RAM 1500, but I’m interested in adding a lift kit to improve ground clearance and add larger tires. I’ve never lifted a truck before, so I want to create a budget beforehand. How much does a lift kit cost for a RAM 1500?

In general, it costs about $400 to $6,000 to lift a RAM 1500, although prices vary based on what you’re looking to achieve. An aesthetic lift is in the lower range—between $400 and $1,000. For what you want to do, this is probably the best option, although low-end lift kits are often a bit more difficult to steer.
If you want something more conducive to off-roading, you’ll spend a few thousand dollars, including installation. The major difference is that an off-roading lift kit improves the overall suspension of your truck, resulting in better performance while maintaining its appearance.
