can cost anywhere from $200 to $15,000, depending on the type of lift kit you decide to purchase. Different lift kits will do different things for your vehicle, so here’s a chart to help you figure out which type you need:Type of kit | Benefits | Cost | Inches raised |

Suspension lift | Extends suspension for larger tires and more clearance | $2,000-$15,000 | Small: 2-5”, Large: 6+” |
Body lift | Lifts vehicle body away from the frame, allows for larger tires | $500-$4,000 | Small: 2-5”, Large: 6+” |
If you just want larger tires for aesthetic reasons, then a body lift is cheaper and will allow for larger tires. However, if you also want to have more clearance, you’ll need to go with a suspension lift.
