How much does it cost to get the starter replaced in a 2016 Cadillac Escalade?

I’m pretty sure the starter in my 2016 Escalade is broken. It won’t turn over. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to afford to get it replaced though. How much would something like that usually cost?

Getting the starter replaced in a 2016 [Cadillac Escalade[(

) usually costs between $450 and $550 for both parts and labor. The labor charge is typically around $100-$150, and the rest of the cost is the price of the starter itself.
The fact that your Escalade won’t turn over could indeed be a sign that your starter is faulty. However, it could also mean that you have a dead battery or a failing alternator. Try
jumpstarting your car battery
to see if that makes a difference. If not, you either need a new starter or a new alternator. Have your mechanic check both before doing the replacement, just to be sure.
