There was a massive snowstorm recently and, long story short, I slid and scraped my car’s side against a giant pile of snow and ice. It left some scratches in my paint, and while it’s not hurting my car right now, I would like to repair this. How much will it cost to fix scrapes on my car?

varies, depending on how large and deep the scrapes are. For smaller, shallow scratches, you might pay as little as $150, but significantly deeper scratches can run you up to $2,500.If the scratches are smaller, you can try fixing the scrapes in your car’s paint yourself by doing the following:
- After thoroughly washing your car, use 2,000 grit sandpaper tostrip away the top layer of paintin the area of the scratches.
- Rinse the area then apply primer and allow it to dry.
- Once dry, apply a matching color of paint to the area.
- Allow the paint to dry and then seal with wax.
