I recently had an issue where my steering became difficult to turn, like it was heavy. A friend came and looked at it, and he spotted a leak. He says it’s the power steering fluid. So how much does it cost to fix a power steering leak?

Yikes, we’re sorry to hear this happened! The cost for fixing a power steering leak is between $500 and $650. But this is all going to depend on what’s wrong. If it’s a leaky hose, pressure valve, or another minor component, you might get away with paying significantly less for the repair.
While you can technically drive the car with a power steering leak, it’s highly recommended you don’t, and not only because it’s a physically-intensive chore.
