How much does Fry's charge to install car stereos?
I just bought a new car stereo, but I have no idea how to install it. I’m shopping around to find the cheapest rate for audio installation. What does Fry’s charge to install a car stereo?

Congrats on the new sound system! With an installation, you should be pumping up the jams in no time. Fry’s charges $130 for installation. However, they often run specials that offer free installation if you purchase a product from them.
That’s not to say you should return the car stereo that you purchased. But if you buy something from Fry’s that’s less than $130, you could come out on top.
If you don’t want to go to Fry’s, check out installation rates from some competitors:
Best Buy: $130
Audio Express: $170
Wal-Mart: $64.99
