I got into a bit of a fender bender today and smashed the front bumper of my Ranger pretty badly. My insurance apparently only covers the other guy’s damages, so I’ll need to pay for a replacement bumper myself. How much does a new 1999 Ford Ranger front bumper cost?

A new front bumper for your 1999 Ford Ranger will cost you between $40 and $60, assuming you only want to replace the stock bumper.
If you need to replace the lights and brackets as well, you’ll have to pay $175. If you want to upgrade to a chrome bumper, those typically cost about $320 or more.
Of course, unless you’re looking to install the bumper yourself, you’ll need to pay a mechanic to do so—the labor costs for that can be as high as $300, depending on your mechanic’s rates.
