Uber drivers in Ohio can make a pretty lucrative side hustle—if you’ve got the time to put the hours into it. Uber drivers in Ohio make a median salary of about $36,800 annually, but the upper 90th percentile of drivers make upwards of $50,000 each year.
Of course, the more hours you can put towards driving for Uber, the more money you’ll make. Likewise, where you drive can also influence how much you can pocket. Larger cities like
Columbus

, and Cincinnati
tend to pay closer to $20 per hour and above. And, if you play your cards right about when you drive, you’ll be able to take advantage or surge pricing to pocket more. For example, if you can drive after an area concert or large sporting event, you could earn hundreds per night.
