How much do Uber drivers make in Missouri?

I’m moving to Missouri soon and don’t want to commit to a part-time schedule, so I thought I’d do the rideshare thing. Someone told me that taxi drivers in Missouri actually make more and that I should look into it. So, how much does an Uber driver make in the Show Me State?

Flexibility is a huge perk of rideshare driving! Uber drivers in Missouri make about $31,607 a year if they drive full-time. This works out to around $15.20 an hour.
While that’s better than the state’s current minimum wage (which is scheduled to increase to $12 an hour in 2023), you can make more as a taxi driver. Full-time Missouri taxi drivers earn an average of $35,805 a year, or about $17.21 an hour, according to ZipRecruiter.
Driving for Uber could be a great start after your move, but you might not make very much if you work in a rural area. To maximize your income, stick to driving in urban and suburban parts of the state—especially near major airports.
Good luck with your move!
