Prius does not come with a front trunk—or frunk—like some other compact hybrid or all-electric vehicles. However, it still has an excellent amount of cargo space for the hybrid and electric compact car class.
The 2022 front-wheel drive Prius hatchback has 27.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and 50.7 cubic feet with the second row folded down.
You’ll lose a little bit of cargo space if you upgrade to all-wheel drive—the dimensions drop down to 24.6 cubic feet of space behind the second row and 47.9 cubic feet when the back seats are folded.
If you’re more concerned about moving people rather than stuff, know that a Prius can comfortably seat a driver plus four passengers. There’s plenty of head and leg room, even for tall individuals.
Don’t forget to protect your Prius—and the people inside of it—with a top-notch
