I saw a photo of a Subaru Forester STi in a car magazine and it was love at first sight! I don’t know much about this vehicle except that it’s pretty rare. How many STis did Subaru make?

It’s true that the Forester STi is one mean wagon! Just over 3,500 Subaru Forester STis were made. The Forester STi was produced for model years 2004 to 2008 and was only available in Japan.
The Forester STi took the functional body style of the family-friendly
that produces an impressive 265 horsepower. Complete with a hood scoop and larger wheels, the amalgamation of concepts was a bit strange—but it worked.
For a time, the Forester STi was the cool oddball in Subaru’s lineup—STi stood for Subaru Tecnica International. It was exclusively manufactured with a right-hand steering column and despite a cult following, was never sold outside of Japan.
