How many spark plugs does a diesel engine have?

My diesel engine is acting up and I am trying to figure out what the issue is. Could it be the spark plugs? How many spark plugs does a diesel engine have?

The problem is definitely not the spark plugs—a diesel engine does not have any spark plugs.
A spark plug is used in gas engines to ignite the fuel and create combustion within the engine. Diesel engines work differently and do not need spark plugs.
Instead, diesel engines have glow plugs that heat the engine’s combustion chamber.
While your engine maintenance issues likely won’t be covered, there are lots of repairs that a good
