That’s correct! Today’s Rolls-Royce Ghost is based on the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. First produced in 1906, only 7,874 original Rolls-Royce Ghost cars were made.

- The Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost was manufactured between 1907 and 1926
- It is the origin of Rolls-Royce’s Autocar credit of making the “best car in the world”

- The “ghost” namesake is meant to emphasize how quiet its engine is
