Less than 14,000 Pontiac Solstice GXP were produced during the model’s two-year run, with roughly 13,000 of those being the convertible body style and about 781 being the coupe body style.
Despite this relatively small production number, the Pontiac Solstice GXP was by no means an unpopular vehicle—its 2.0L inline 4-cylinder Ecotec engine was capable of producing a whopping 260 horsepower and 260 lb-ft torque, making it an extremely fun car to drive.
Of course, the Solstice GXP wasn’t perfect, and it came with many of the drawbacks Pontiac is (or rather, was) known for, particularly the bland, uninspired interior.
