s were made before GM discontinued the Pontiac brand in 2009. As such, these vehicles became very limited very fast, which is essentially a collector’s dream! Here are some more facts about the G8 to get you prepared for your next chat with your friend:
- It was Pontiac’s first full-size sedan since the 1986 Parisienne
- Its rear-wheel drivetrain and zippy V6 gave it plenty of admiration from sports car enthusiasts
- The even rarer G8 GXP trim featured a 6.2-liter Corvette engine capable of a 4.5-second 0 to 60 mph sprint
- Its downfall came in part from the 2008 economic crisis, giving the Pontiac G8 a total run time of one year (2008 to 2009)
If your friend does have one of these sedans on their hands, then kudos to them! They will want to look into
