How many points before your license is suspended in Washington D.C.?
Does Washington D.C. track your license points like different states do? I know that it counts as its own state in some ways and not in others, so I’m not really sure how that translates to driving laws.

Like most US states, D.C. does track your driving infractions using a
points system
. If you get eight to eleven points, your driving license can be suspended for up to 90 days in Washington, D.C. If you earn more than 12 points, your license can be revoked completely for six months at minimum.Most minor traffic infractions are worth two to six points in D.C. However, more serious charges come with higher point values. Reckless driving, for example, is worth 12 points, meaning this charge results in immediate suspension. Driving points stay on your record for two years in D.C., though, so you can get a speeding ticket or two without worrying too much about suspension.
