How many points before your license is suspended in TN?
I got something in the mail labeled as a notice of proposed suspension and I don’t know what that means. Does TN suspend your license for having too many points, or is something else going on?

. When you receive a notice of proposed suspension, you have the opportunity to attend an administrative hearing to refute the charges brought against you.
If you fail to appear for your hearing, your license will automatically be suspended for six to 12 months. At the hearing, however, it’s possible that you’ll be offered the option of taking a defensive driving class instead of having your license suspended.
