How many miles does the average car drive in a month?

Ever since COVID-19 began, I’ve barely driven my car. It’s been two years and I now work from home. I’m wondering if it’s worth keeping my car at this point. Can you help me make a decision and tell me how many miles the average car drives in a month?

You certainly aren’t the only person whose driving habits have changed due to COVID-19. According to the
DOT
, the number of traveled driven miles fell 10.3% during lockdowns.
That being said, the average person drives roughly 1,200 miles, or approximately 1,931 kilometers, per month, based on 2019 data.
If you’re concerned about paying too much on your car insurance for a vehicle that you rarely drive, maybe a low-mileage plan would better suit your needs. The
