A total of 27,792 Jeep Scramblers were made. Jeep only produced the vehicle from 1981 to 1986, making it one of the automaker’s rarer vehicles.

That said, it doesn’t hold the title of “Rarest Jeep Ever.” That would be the 1971 Jeep Commando Hurst edition. Less than 100 of these Jeeps ever graced American roadways, and even fewer are still around today.
