How many Jaguar S-Type Rs were made?
I have a 2007 Jaguar S-Type R. I know they were produced for a while, but I don’t see many on the road. Are they quite rare?

Rs were made, but there were 291,386 Jaguar S-Types made from 1999 until 2007. The S-Type R was introduced as direct competition for the
BMW M5
and Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG. It underwent minor interior and exterior upgrades and added a hand-built 4.2-Litre V8 with an Eaton M112 supercharger, generating 400 hp, which could accelerate the S-Type R from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.Some of the features included:

- Wire-mesh grille
- Monochromatic paint.
