Maryland
learner’s permit, 60 hours of driving practice are required before you can apply for a license in MD if you are under 25 years old. Drivers 25 and older only need 10 hours of driving practice.Here are the details on driving experience requirements:

Maryland law requires that all applicants must obtain a valid learner’s permit before they can complete any behind-the-wheel driver education or supervised driving on any state highways. Anyone holding a learner’s permit must also complete a Maryland Certified Driver Education program before applying for a full license.
