How many Honda Civic SIs were made?
I was looking at the history of the Honda Civic to see what the best used versions are out there. The SI trim seems to be in demand. What are my chances of finding one?

The
Honda Civic SI
was, and still is, a hot item for drivers wanting a little more power from their Civic. Between 2012 and 2015, about 500 SI models were made in the US each year.The Honda Civic SI is a “sport-injected” model that was available as a hot hatch or sedan, depending on the year. The first generation was released in 1985 with a direct injection 91-hp 1.5L four-cylinder engine. A vintage Si will cost you at least $20,000.
Today, the Honda Civic SI is a sport compact offering only a manual transmission and front-wheel drive. You’ll get exclusive sports seats with distinctive Si logos and red contrast stitching. The starting MSRP for the 2022 SI is $28,595.
