How many Ford Tonka trucks were made?
I just learned that Ford produced an F-150 that seriously looks like a Tonka truck. I’m not sure if Ford is still making them, but I’d love to get my hands on one somehow! How many of the Ford Tonka trucks were made?

The answer is a little tricky. Officially, Ford claims that 500 Tonkas were made between 2014 and 2016. However, the Tonka truck edition was re-released in 2020 with an extremely limited run—only 100 Tonk trucks were made!
Ford has been working with the Tuscany Motor Company to produce Tonka trucks for the last few decades—usually in very limited, special edition numbers. For instance, Ford planned on making 200 Tonka trucks back in 2016, but they only completed 128. Previously, Ford planned to produce 300 for the model year 2013 and around 500 for 2014.
