The Power Wagon is a four-wheel drive pickup truck that was based on the 3/4 ton Dodge WC series of World War II military trucks. The Power Wagon featured a rugged, heavy-duty design and was equipped with various unique features, like a winch which made it well-suited for off-road use.
Primarily used as a work truck, the Power Wagon was popular with farmers, ranchers, and other rural customers, and even used by the military and other government agencies. The Power Wagon was available in various models and configurations, including a flatbed, stake bed, and a cab and chassis. In 2005, Dodge reintroduced the name for a version of their Ram 2500 heavy duty pickup truck.
