How many Chevrolet SS cars were made?
I saw a Chevrolet SS for sale the other day that looked pretty cool. I’ve never heard of these cars before. How many of them were made?

The Chevrolet SS was released in 2013 and was discontinued in 2017. It’s estimated that approximately 13,000 were released over five years.

- It shared a platform with the Chevy Camaro and was marketed to police departments.
- It was offered in just one engine: a 6.2-liter V8.
- All came with rear-wheel drive.
- It was released as a six-speed automatic model first, and a manual transmission was released in the second model year.
- It was priced around $44,500.
Unfortunately, sales for the SS rarely topped 300 in a month, and the fast, powerful sedan was discontinued in 2017. That said, there are some Chevrolet SS cars listed for sale online. You will likely pay around $40,000.
