How many Buick Reattas were made?
I’m a bit of a research hound, and I’m trying to learn more about vintage Buick sports cars. I feel like they’re overlooked when compared to other more popular models. How many Buick Reattas were made?

The Buick Reatta was manufactured for four years, with both coupe and convertible versions available. The convertible version was only for the last two years of production starting in 1990, available with either a vinyl or cloth top.
Each year of the Reatta had its special feature (or limitation).
For instance, the 1988 Buick Reatta was the only model year to offer a remote glove box. The 1989 version had a slightly enlarged hood ornament and keyless entry. In 1990, the convertible was introduced alongside a revamp for interior design. The 1991 Reatta received an anti-lock brake system.
This is a rare and desirable sports car. Though it’s not on the same level as today’s muscle cars, there’s something charming and nostalgic about the Buick Reatta.
It’s a shame that the price tag was a little too high for Buick (and for consumers), resulting in the discontinuation of the Reatta line. But you could still buy one for yourself if you’re willing to shell out more than $20,000 for a used Reatta.
