While there doesn’t seem to be a readily available tally of how many BMW Isettas were made, according to BMW, how many were sold throughout its production was 161,728.
That spanned eight years: 1955 to 1962. 10,000 Isettas were sold during its first year and the Isetta quickly exploded in popularity.
