Wildcat was a concept car—and a pretty unique one at that! Only one was created and it was never mass-produced. While the original 1954 Wildcat was only used as a concept, some car enthusiasts have rendered their own lookalike versions.The 1954 Wildcat II was the middle child of three iterations. The Wildcat I concept was introduced in 1953, and the Wildcat III concept was unveiled in 1955.
The Wildcat II concept car was built on a Corvette chassis, and it had a baby blue exterior with a body composed of fiberglass. That blue hue carried into the vehicle’s interior and was accented by a white dash and upholstery. From the front, it also featured an unmistakable front fender that gave the impression it was bearing a set of canine teeth.
While there is plenty of great
classic car
options out there, the chances of getting that Wildcat for yourself are quite slim. At least at one point, the 1954 Buick Wildcat was on display at the Buick Automotive Gallery in Flint, so there’s at least a chance you could view it in person one day if you’d like.View full answer
