How long is the Tesla Model 3’s battery warranty?
I’ve had my Tesla Model 3 for about a year, and the battery doesn’t seem to be holding its charge the way it used to. I want to have it looked at. How long is my Tesla’s battery warranty good for?

Sorry to hear you’re having problems with your Model 3. The Tesla Model 3’s battery warranty is good for 8 years, or 100,000 miles, whichever happens first.
Since you’ve only had your Model 3 for a year, it should still be within warranty (unless you’ve logged more than 100,000 miles, that is!)
Here’s what else your Model 3 warranty includes:
- 4-year, 50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper basic warranty
- 5-year, 60,000-mile airbags and seatbelts warranty
These warranties will cover repairs and/or replacement of parts to correct defects in labor or materials of products made by Tesla. They will not cover general wear and tear.
