How long does the Ford extended warranty last?
After some careful consideration, I think I’m going to buy a Ford extended warranty to keep my car in tip-top condition well into the future. However, I’m not sure how long the terms are. How long does an extended warranty from Ford last?

A Ford extended warranty lasts either 8 years and 150,000 miles or 10 years and 175,000 miles depending on which you choose. The 8-year, 150,000-mile extended warranty is available on all four Ford extended care plans, while the comprehensive Ford PremiumCARE plan lasts for 10 years and 175,000 miles.
You can also choose a shorter plan, so don’t feel like you have to get the maximum length if you don’t deem it necessary. Costs for plans range from $1,500 to $4,500 depending on the model, age of the vehicle, length of the term, and your coverage plan. Aside from the PremiumCARE plan, you can also choose ExtraCARE, BasicCare, or PowertrainCARE, each of which offers a different level of coverage.
