If you have a 220-volt charger, it will only take 2.3 to 4.5 hours for your car to reach full charge.Depending on the model year, the Chevy Volt can travel between 38 and 53 miles on a single full charge. If you’re just using your car to get to and from work, this should be more than enough. If you’d like to use your vehicle for long-distance travel, however, you might want to opt for a different electric vehicle.
