I’d like a ceramic coating to protect my car. However, I have some big drives and can’t be without my car for too long. How long does ceramic coating take to cure?
Reviewed by Shannon Martin, Licensed Insurance Agent.
How long a ceramic coating takes to cure is two to three weeks. During that time, extra caution is required.
A ceramic coat is an extra layer of protection on the exterior of your car. It is a hydrophobic chemical polymer solution applied directly to your vehicle. Curing time is how long it takes for the car’s sealant to bond with the ceramic coating.
The length of time for the coat to cure dependst on the humidity and temperature of where you live when you get your ceramic coat.
