How long do tickets and accidents impact your rate?

How long do things on my driving record impact my insurance rates? I have two tickets from 2019 and an accident from 2018.

“Tickets and accidents often influence your
car insurance
rates for three to five years.
After that, most insurance companies don’t use them as a factor when determining a rate.
While three to five years is standard, it does vary company to company. Not every insurance carrier rates policies the same. The type of ticket and accident can also change how your rate is calculated.
If your rate does change at your next policy renewal, you can always look into other carriers. You may be able to find
cheaper car insurance
with another carrier who may not rate accidents or tickets as heavily.
As long as you maintain a clean driving record, you should start to see your rate decrease in the next few years.”
