Well, you are quite the loving spouse indeed to indulge your significant other’s love of food and baseball—Chicago to St. Louis is a trip of 302 miles, mostly via I-55 S, that will take you about 4 hours and 20 minutes to complete.
You’ll be on I-55 S for most of that time, and you’ll follow it to Clark Ave./Historic Route 66—take Exit 40A off I-64 W which will lead you to 8th St., then hang a right and Busch Stadium will be on your left.
Once you get your seats at the ballpark, you and your spouse will probably be hungry. For Busch Stadium eats, we here at Jerry have a few favorites:
The Bratzel: Do you like bratwursts? And pretzels? We thought so. Try The Bratzel, a bratwurst wrapped in delicious pretzel dough.
Mini donuts: Ballpark dessert means going for it—so go for it with awesome delicious mini donuts served in a Cardinals batting helmet (since you’re from Chicago we suppose you could ask for the donuts in a Cubs helmet, but they will probably just laugh at you).
Of course, you can wash all that down with a cold Budweiser at the stadium’s 1764 Craft Beer Bar in section 141. What’s better than a summer day or brats, beers, and baseball?
