How far can an electric Smart Car go?

EVs don’t typically have much driving range, but I’m considering getting a smart car because its compact but still functional. How far can an electric smart car go?

An electric Smart Fortwo vehicle can drive about 58 miles (93 km) on a full charge. Though this doesn’t seem like a lot, it’s almost twice what the average American drives each day.
Smart cars are tiny, but they are fully functional vehicles believe it or not. Electric cars are called “smart” for good reason.
They are compact and don’t take up much space: physically or environmentally. With a smaller, lighter frame comes the cost of a smaller battery which equals a smaller driving range.
Larger fully electric vehicles like Teslas have much larger and heavier batteries. At less than half of the average driving range, this isn’t a vehicle made for long drives and is much better suited for city driving.
