How does driving for DoorDash work?

Since 2020, DoorDash has become a major employer, especially in metropolitan areas, but a lot of people still wonder the same thing as you: how does driving for DoorDash work?
Honestly, the confusion may stem from the fact that becoming a DoorDasher is surprisingly easy. To be eligible to work for DoorDash, you must:
- *Be 18 or older
- *Have a reliable means of transportation (this could even be just a bicycle in some locations)
- *Have a valid driver’s license
- *Have a valid social security number
- *Consent to a background check
If you meet those requirements, simply fill out a quick online application, wait for your background check to go through, download the app, and start Dashing.
Once you have the app, you can tap “Dash Now” to deliver right away or “Schedule” to set times to Dash in the future. Orders will get pushed to your account whenever you’re available to Dash, and you’ll have 45 seconds to review and accept or decline.
