How do you use Torque Pro on an electric car?
I heard of this I can use for my Chevy Bolt EV app called Torque Pro, but I’m not sure how to get started. I have an Android phone and I downloaded the app. Lol that’s how far I’ve gotten. How do you use Torque Pro on an electric car? Please help!

You’ve come to the right place! **Torque Pro is an awesome tool to get to know your
EV
like the back of your hand. **The app interacts with sensors that regulate the Engine Management System (EMS) in your car’s gearbox, engine, ABS, airbags sensors, wheel sensors, and other electrical components. Users can also monitor their EV’s engine control units (ECUs) as well as diagnostic trouble codes. Currently, the Torque Pro app is only compatible with the operating system on Android phones.
Here’s how to use Torque Pro on an electric car:
- Locate the vehicle diagnostics socket. Check behind a flap near or underneath the steering wheel, or under the drivers-side dash.
- Next, plug the adapter into the socket and watch some of its lights light up. Some PLX adapters have a switch and need to be turned on.
- **Pair **your phone with the adapter. Access your phone’s Bluetooth and scan for devices.
- When prompted, enter the divide’s pairing code. Android 1.5’s may ask for the code a second time.
Now that you’re set to get to know your Chevy Bolt EV even better than before, make sure you’re also set up with the best car insurance. Most of us are overpaying for our policy every month. Ouch!
