How do you turn on the dashboard lights in a Toyota Corolla?
I recently got my first car, a Toyota Corolla, and I’m having trouble viewing the speedometer when I’m driving. How do I turn on and brighten my dashboard lights?

Congrats on getting your first car! I’m happy to say that you can turn on your dashboard lights and adjust them easily with the Corolla’s *dashboard light controls**. Here’s how to use them.
Generally speaking, your dashboard lights should turn on when you start your car. If they don’t, it may be because they’re turned all the way down on your dashboard light controls.
Once your car is on, find the dashboard light control to the left of the steering wheel. Depending on the year of your Corolla, this will either be a knob or a wheel. You should see a small picture of your speedometer next to the control. Use your dashboard light control to brighten or dim your dashboard.
If your dashboard lights still aren’t working, you may have a blown fuse. These are relatively easy to replace, but you’ll need to see an expert.
