How do you transfer a car title in Mississippi?

My sister is moving back home to Mississippi. Since I'm planning on getting a new car, I'm going to give her my old one. How would I transfer a car title in Mississippi?

The current title

An odometer reading

The bill of sale

Once you have what you need, you and your sister will need to fill out and Authorization For Title Assignment and Mileage Disclosure. The form is available online or by visiting your local Department of Revenue. You’ll also want to confirm with them there are no other forms required.

After the Department of Revenue assigns the title to your sister, the transfer is complete! She’ll now be able to register the vehicle in her name.
