How do you stop squeaky car windows?
What can I do to stop my squeaky car windows from making so much noise? It’s like nails on a chalkboard every time I roll them down.

Driving with your windows down on a nice day is one of the joys of owning a car! Luckily, you can follow these steps to stop your window from squeaking:
- Clean the window seal with soap and water to get rid of any loose debris.
- Spray a moly lubricant inside the seal on both sides of the window frame. Start at the top of the window frame and work your way down.
- Wipe down the car bodywhen you’re done to get rid of any excess lubricant.
- Let it soak for a few minutes, then roll the window up and down a few times.
- If the squeak isn’t gone, you can spray more lubricant into the seal of the window, this time with the glass all the way up.
- Repeat these steps until the squeak is gone!
