Sometimes when I’m driving, I’m worried that I’m drifting into the other lane by accident. How can I make sure that I stay centered in my lane while I’m driving?

  • Keep your eyes on the road straight ahead of you, not on the front of your car.
  • Use your
    side mirrors
    to check the lines on the road.
  • Keep a loose grip on your steering wheel so that you can make adjustments as necessary.
  • Eliminate distractions—like your phone, food, or an intense conversation.
  • Remember that as the driver, you should be on the left side of the lane, not in the middle.
